The majority of mainstream household insurers will often not offer buildings and contents insurance to properties which are second homes, or which are used as holiday homes. This is often because the property will be left unoccupied for a prolonged period of time, or because the property is rented out.
However this home is a valuable asset which you will want to protect. Imagine having a substantial amount of accidental damage to the property, if you are not insured then you are going to have to find the money for the repairs from your savings.
Fortunately we have some home insurers who will consider your application if you own a second home, or a holiday home.
We can cover most second properties from small chalets, standard constructions, or converted churches, etc. Likewise the value of the property doesn't present us with a challenge either.
